The Brand
DEMER is a fashion brand heavily influenced by vintage and rock n’ roll aesthetics. It blends these familiar themes with new and unexpected elements. All DEMER pieces are simple yet unique. DEMER creates pieces not for a specific gender or age, but rather, any individual who identifies with the aesthetics of the brand.
One of a Kind
- All items are vintage as as such, show signs of wear and aging.
- All items are hand painted with leather paint and sealed with a high loss paint sealant.
- Each piece is completely unique, no two items will ever be the same.
The Fit
All jackets are intended to be unisex. Although they are tagged as “men’s” or “women’s,” customers are encouraged to buy each jacket based solely on their desired fit, regardless of their usual size or the intended gender the piece was originally made for. For example, female designer Julia Demer is 5’5” with a small frame, but generally prefers her jackets to be oversized, so she opts to wear jackets tagged as a men’s medium. Sizes from the original tags and measurements for each jacket are provided as information in order for the customer to purchase the jacket of their desired fit.
Julia Demer
Julia Demer is the owner, creator, and designer of DEMER. She has always had a love for fashion and has heavily experimented with clothing and different styles of dress throughout her life. Some of her favorite activities include vintage and thrift shopping. Her experiences have significantly impacted the aesthetic of her brand. Julia's long-time goal was to create clothing and accessories of her own, and DEMER is a manifestation of her dreams of doing so.
